Q: What types of English coaching do you offer?
A: We provide one-to-one coaching for academic, personal, and professional English goals. We also offer business English coaching for teams and group creative workshops for schools, companies, and communities.
Q: Is coaching available online or in person?
A: All one-to-one coaching and consultations are delivered online via Zoom, making it easy to join from anywhere.
Our Creative Workshops are in person only and available within the Tokyo and Kanagawa regions.
Our English for Teams & Companies service is available nationwide across Japan and can be delivered in person, online, or in a hybrid format, depending on your team’s needs and location.
Q: Who are your services for?
A: We support a wide range of learners — from high school and university students preparing for exams, to adult learners improving everyday English, to professionals and teams working in global business environments.
Q: Do I need a certain English level to start?
A: Our coaching is open to all levels, but having a basic understanding of English will help you get the most out of our tailored sessions. If you’re just starting out, we can still support you using translation tools and extra guidance during the early sessions.
Q: How does the coaching process work?
A: We start with a free consultation to understand your goals. Then we create a personalized coaching plan, meet regularly for one-to-one sessions, and track your progress with clear feedback and support throughout.
Q: What exams can you help with?
A: We help students prepare for IELTS, TOEFL, TOEIC, EIKEN, SAT exams and academic entrance interviews. We also provide support for academic writing, speaking, and listening skills.
Q: What makes AEC different from other services?
A: We focus on personalised, practical coaching. Whether you're preparing for an exam, an interview, or just want to speak naturally, we provide structured guidance, flexible scheduling, and real progress without generic textbook lessons.
Q: Do you offer custom programs for companies or schools?
A: Yes. We work with businesses, schools, and organizations to build tailored coaching programs — from professional communication training to fun, creative English workshops for staff or students.
Q: How do I pay for services?
A: Our invoicing is simple and transparent across all services. Once you confirm a booking, we send an email invoice with full details and agreed fees.
Payment is usually requested in advance by bank transfer or another preferred method. If changes occur, we’ll issue a revised invoice so everything stays accurate and clear — with no hidden costs.
Q: How do the Creative English Workshops work?
A: Workshops are activity-based learning sessions where each participant works on a hands-on project (like papercraft, painting, or crochet) while communicating in English. They are available in person only and require a minimum of three participants. Please note: Workshops are delivered in person only and are currently available within the Tokyo and Kanagawa regions
